The Catalyst Grant was born of our desire to help early-stage software ideas come into fruition. We invest in the community, and we come from the community. At Digital Science, our team is made up of people with a research background and decades of experience within research software. We’re always on the lookout for great products that could transform our industry, but this is not our only goal. We’re here to discuss ideas and assist bright minds with the vision and energy to create meaningful products that benefit the world in a multitude of ways. We bring the same philosophy to our investment strategy actively seeking ideas that will result in open source software rather than something proprietary.
